This Privacy Policy explains how That Group Company Ltd (company number 15564505), trading as That Haul ("we", "us"), collects, uses and protects personal information when you use the That Haul website and web application (the "Site") and the That Haul driver app for Android and iOS (the "App").

Information We Collect

Account information: your name, email address, phone number and password (stored encrypted). Business accounts also provide their business name and details, and may provide bank details (sort code and account number) for use on invoices.

Business records: information you add to manage your haulage business, such as vehicles, customers, jobs, tickets, invoices and documents.

Driver app records: drivers invited to the App by their haulier provide job updates, daily vehicle checks, defect reports, delivery notes, signatures and photos. Photos are taken with your device's camera or chosen from your photo library, and only when you choose to add them.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to provide and maintain your account, to let hauliers and their drivers manage jobs, vehicle checks and paperwork, to generate documents such as tickets and invoices, to send service emails (for example invitations, defect alerts and invoices), and to keep the Site and App secure and working properly. We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell it.

Who Can See Your Information

Information a driver records in the App is shared with the haulage business that invited them, and with businesses they are sub-contracted to where relevant. Business information is not shared with other businesses using That Haul.

We use a small number of service providers to run That Haul: Supabase (database, authentication and file storage), Resend (sending emails), Mapbox (maps on the Site) and Umami (privacy-friendly website analytics that uses no cookies and collects no personal data). They process data only on our behalf. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.

Data Retention and Deletion

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. Hauliers can remove or archive their drivers at any time.

To delete your account and its data, including a driver account in the App, email hello@thatgroupco.com from the address linked to your account. We will confirm the request and delete your data, except where we must keep some records for legal, tax or security reasons.

Your Rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, object to or restrict how we use it, or ask for a copy of it. Contact us using the details below. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

Data Security

Data is encrypted in transit, access is limited to the account and business it belongs to, and we use industry-standard measures to protect it from unauthorised access, disclosure or misuse.

Children

That Haul is a business tool and is not intended for anyone under 18.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page.
